Mission Statement
Verein WeGive was founded at the end of 2020 dedicated to providing financial assistance to a large number of Swiss charitable causes from educational programs, social welfare organizations, campaigns to fight poverty, support for disabled persons, youth development, community initiatives, and many more charitable foundations. We fulfill our goals by spearheading innovative projects to enable convenient opportunities for crowdfunding on a larger scale.”

What We Do
We are have just begun implementing our first project building a platform aggregating small recurring donations from a large number of people and distributing to many different charities on a monthly basis. Once this project is live by the end of 2021, we can easily scale this solution and provide the same opportunity to additional clusters of charitable organizations increasing the efficiency of giving and engaging a vast community of givers across Switzerland to supply a huge network of organizations with vital funding to continue their critical operations.
Eligibility
Verein WeGive is open to supporting Swiss-based organizations that do not discriminate against age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. If your organization meets the above criteria, you can contact us to apply to join the platform and receive funding. Verein WeGive gives no guarantee on the acceptance of any individual organization to any particular project.
Support Us
The operations of Verein WeGive are executed completely by a small group of volunteers dedicated to enhancing charitable giving in Switzerland. Our members do not collect any kind of financial compensation for their work. Donations are collected to pay for infrastructure, software licenses, and development costs of the project implementation as well as maintenance costs. Giving directly to Verein WeGive enables the charities on the receiving end to receive the complete funds raised by the platform as well as enabling us to continue in our special mission. WeGive is a non-profit organization founded at the end of 2020 with a base in Hergiswil and donations to Verein WeGive are tax deductible with authority from Kanton Nidwalden according to Art. 74 Abs. 2 Ziff. 1 StG.
